Notice Regarding Your Sweepstake Points |

LRCA Members, There have been
a number of issues that have affected the 2010 -2011 sweepstakes. The
first is that there were no less than 4 different people that had
received sanction requests and show reports over the past several
months. With each change of the sanction/sweepstakes person, delays have
been experienced as clubs and individuals fail to take note of changes
on the LRCA website, ARBA website, and notices appearing in the Domestic
Rabbits magazine. By not following the updates regularly, many show
secretaries have sent show reports to the incorrect person, which has
either resulted in a gross delay in me receiving the reports in order to
enter them into the sweepstakes files, or perhaps the reports not
arriving at my location at all. The above coupled with a virus on my
computer which wiped out quite a number of show reports, has resulted in
delays of updates. Along with the
above, I just recently received a number of files that contained the
information on which shows over the past year did indeed sanction with
the LRCA. It was impossible for me to enter show reports when I did not
know what shows had been sanctioned, thus a compound effect on the delay
in updates to the sweepstakes. I totally
understand the membership is eager to see their point standings, and I
assure each of you that we are doing everything possible to get all of
the reports in and tallied as quickly as possible. I anticipate that
within the next week to 10 days we will have a final sweepstakes
standings posted for the 2010-2011 sweepstakes year. Many of the show
reports that have been listed as not received, have indeed been received
within the past couple of weeks. I expect that
the new sweepstake year will not encounter the issues we had this past
year, as sanctions are being issued and show reports recorded as they
are received. If anyone has

Contacting a Board member will only result in delays to your query as
none of the Board members are involved in issuing sanctions or recording
show reports. They will be unable to help you at this time. Please
contact me directly if you have any concerns, and you will receive a
response. Thank you for
your patience as we work on the issues realized due to the change in
sanction/sweepstakes personnel over the past year. As soon as results
